That’s right one of our favorite Front Range venues is planning on closing for repairs and upgrades and to show our love for the local venue we plan to post a photo a day from fantastic Fox fun over the past few years. Each day look for an image, many previously unpublished, of some of the amazing performers and events held at the Fox Theatre.
Boulder’s Fox Theatre will close for roof repairs May 27 and may not reopen until
Aug.19th. The reopen date may change if the repairs are completed earlier than scheduled. The building, celebrating its 20th year as a music venue has been leaking and the owners are planning to take this time, while school is out, to conduct much needed repairs and update the ventilation system. You can read the theatre’s press release below and Ashley Dean of the Colorado Daily wrote a great article about the venue closing that you can read here. In the meantime, check back regularly to view the photos or subscribe to our rss feed to keep up to date.
