Michigan Mike Torpie
Here at RockyMountainJams we are very saddened to hear of the untimely
Michigan Mike with Bill Kreutzmann, George Porter Jr., Kyle Hollingsworth and Steve Kimock at Nedfest 2011
passing of Michigan Mike (Mike Torpie), NedFest promoter and longtime Nederland Resident. We have archival footage from this year’s Ned Fest that we will be posting in the next couple of days. The videos were taken for an article to publish next year as a preview for the next NedFest.
Mike Torpie did much for the Nederland music scene and his impact will be
felt for years to come. So long Mike, thank you and you will be missed.
