I hope, like Rocky Mountain Jams, you are planning on attending Kyle’s Brew Fest, Saturday, July 23, presented by Kyle Hollingsworth, Boulder Beer, & Odell Brewing companies. This is the second charity beer festival and concert hosted by Hollingsworth.
RMJ was fortunate to attend the final holiday performance of the Kyle Hollingsworth Band’s “Hoppy Holidays” at the Avery Brewing Company last December. It was a very fun and festive event.
These festivals are fun filled with good food, music and beer. RMJ’s Alan Crandall ran into Kyle at the Southern Sun last Monday waiting for the Motet to funk the Sun up. Kyle explained that the event is a benefit for the Conscious Alliance and if you like beer attending the beer festival is an “no-brainer.” Hollingsworth said that for a $25 ticket you get to drink many different types of beer, eat tasty grilled food and are entertained with a concert by the Kyle Hollingsworth Band. A special bonus is tastings of Kyle’s brand new brew, Hoopla Pale Ale and a take home limited edition Kyle’s Brew Fest logo pint glass.
This year’s festival will be held at the Boulder Beer Company in Boulder, CO. Kyle’s 2011 Brew Fest will be bigger and better, featuring over 25 breweries pouring over 50 craft beers.
Tickets are $25 and include:
-Exclusive performance from Kyle Hollingsworth Band
-Limited edition Kyle’s Brew Fest logo pint glass
-Drinks
-Delicious grilled food
-An opportunity to bid at the Silent Auction (which features rock memorabilia from the scene’s favorite artists, among other items)
Some of the participating Breweries: Asher, Aspen, Avery, Bent River, Boulder Beer, Boulevard, Breckenridge, Bristol, Deschutes, Elysian, Great Divide, Lagunita’s, Left Hand, Mountain Sun, Odell, Oskar Blues, Santa Fe, Ska, Stone, Trinity, Twisted Pine, Upslope, Wynkoop
So like Kyle said, for $25 bucks it’s a “no-brainer.” For a video of the preparations for this event Click Here.
