Colorado’s Yonder Mountain String Band is closing out the year with a series of 4 sold out shows at the Boulder Theater that started Friday, Dec. 28, and ends tonight, New Year’s Eve. Each show has its own set design and are seasonal themed.

We were on hand for the Saturday’s, Dec. 29 YMSB show and grabbed a few images. Enjoy.
We really did try to cut these down to just a few photos that would tell the story of the hugely fun Leftover Salmon Thanksgiving shows at the Boulder Theater on Nov. 23 and 24, but we were unable. The shows were just too much fun with guest like Jason Carter, Andy Hall, Billy Nershi, Silas Herman and the little boy on washboard.

We are still processing our photos from this weekend’s Leftover Salmon Thanksgiving shows at the Boulder Theater but we do have a treat to share. Here is a grab from our favorite archivist, Steve. Blues guitar legend BB King brought his show to a packed Boulder Theater, Monday, Nov. 12. King, now 87 still has the fire and drive to entertain, breaking into stories and playful banter with his band throughout Monday night’s performance. As is now standard King lead the band from a chair in the center of the stage. He also lead the audience through a nice version of “You Are My Sunshine.”
Award winning local Denver blues band the Delta Sonics opened the show. Check out some views from the show.
