Surrounded by wood casks full of beer, The Kyle Hollingsworth Band finished up its Hoppy Holidays performances with an intimate benefit concert at Avery Brewing Company, Dec. 12, 2010.

Hollingsworth, keyboard player for String Cheese Incident and Boulder resident, worked with several local breweries to add his input to a couple of holiday craft beers culminating in the Avery Brewery finale.

The event was a fundraising concert for the Conscious Alliance, a Boulder organization that uses art happenings to raise funding for the underprivileged. Participants were able to sample some of Kyle’s/Avery’s brew, received a collector’s Hoppy Holidays pint glass, and were provided food from ChebaHut. This was followed by a set of the band’s combination of original funky jams, covers and re-worked SCI songs. To find out more about the Conscious Alliance visit www.ConsciousAlliance.org.
